Our Wooden Coaster Set includes 2 handcrafted coasters, each made from carefully selected timber rescued from previous woodworking projects. Rather than letting beautiful offcuts go to waste, we give them a second life as functional pieces for your home.
No two sets are ever exactly the same.
You may receive anything from locally sourced Australian hardwoods to imported timbers from around the world. Some species are instantly recognisable. Others arrive in our workshop as mystery offcuts, their origins long forgotten but their character impossible to ignore.
We like to call these our Surprise Gems.
The natural grain, colour, and texture of each coaster will vary, making every set uniquely yours. Some may feature the soft warmth of Pine, while others showcase the rich tones and durability of premium hardwoods. Some are local. Some are imported. All are chosen because they’re simply too beautiful to discard.
Designed to protect your surfaces while celebrating the natural beauty of timber, these coasters are a small reminder that great craftsmanship often begins with giving good materials a second chance.
