A creative space for our community
Art belongs in everyday places.
We’ve always wanted to share this space with more people and find ways to keep it full of life. Working with local artists, musicians and makers felt like a natural place to start—giving them room to share what they do, and our community something new to experience.
Art In The Woods is part of that idea, and we look forward to seeing what else can happen here.
Meet the artist
Danielle Grygorcewicz
Danielle is a Queensland-raised artist creating works that reflect local soul with an international flavour.
Returning to her roots after two decades abroad brings an expanded visual vocabulary to her recent series focussing on the magnetism of origin and the interplay between light and form.
Her representational approach is complimented by subtle abstract elements that employ texture and fluid movement.
Creating brings her so much joy, and her greatest reward is seeing that same spark of delight ignite in those who experience her spirited paintings.
